Do something for yourself everyday. Make time for yourself instead of excuses, because excuses are just that--AN EXCUSE! Everyone can take 15min a day to do something, anything -- just for you! Examples: 1. mani, pedi! Cheap way to pamper yourself while getting a back massaging chair. Be sure to bring your Vogue or Star magazine! 2. Take a Zumba class! You'll look and feel great! Its the fun new way to get moving now can be found in every major city. Check out your local gym or go to http://www.zumba.com/en-US/parties/search. 3. Rock out! Turn up your favorite song on the way to work and exercise those vocal chords; don't worry no one is recording!
Yes, possibly your mother told you its not what is on the outside that counts, its what is on the inside-BULL!--Your mom knows that if she is looking good, she is going to feel even better! That is why it is so important to take the time EVERY morning to look yourself in the mirror (a full length one ladies) and take your self in. Too often do I see women who look like they have just given up! (or don't have a mirror) This is sad because I know its not true; they have just not made the important descision to have pride in their outward appearance. This is important for you to be your best, feel your best and be happy!!~ Your loved ones will feel the difference too! Easiest way to boost your morale=bronzer on the cheek bone, shape/color the eyebrows, teeth brighnter and pink or lavendar lipstick--add sunglasses and tada!
Living healthy is a vital part of looking and feeling your best. Its not a diet, its a lifestyle and a fabulous one at that! These basic rules can jump start your energy level; lighten, tighten and brighten your skin; and give you a feeling of accomplishment when you get on that scale. 1. Shop/Eat the perimeter of the supermarket--stay away from frozen or processed foods--and the drive through! 2. Only consume ONE portion of whole grain carbohydrates a day, preferably before 4pm, at dinner double up on veggies instead of rice and skip the butter. 3. Drink a full glass of water with lemon prior to eating a snack or meal and have 2-3 healthy snacks every 2-3 hours between meals. 4. Buy a scale. A weigh in once a week is sufficient and most new scales have built in memory that will help you keep track of your progress. Your weight will naturally flucate so weigh yourself at the same time and day on the same scale to minimize fustration in your natural fluxuations--I am a life time Weight Watcher's member and that is how I roll...ultimately its how you feel in your skin so only use the scale as a guide.
